CHIEF PNP HAS ALREADY SIGNED AMENDED AIRSOFT IRR AS CIRCULAR NO. 11!
quoted by atty Fallujah:Link
As good news for this new year, we are pleased to announce that Chief PNP Gen. Avelino Razon has just signed our amended Implementing Rules and regulations for airsoft. The final signed circular made a few minor changes particularly the requirement of an orange red tip (please see notes). Aside from this change the essential portions of our draft has remained intact and approved.
On behalf of UAA and everyone within the community who actively supported and had FAITH and PERSEVERANCE in this legalization endeavor, we give our wholehearted THANKS TO YOU ALL.
We specially wish to thank the following for this Amended Circular, without whose help this would not have been possible:
Chief PNP General Avelino "Sonny" Razon Jr. for his unwavering support for airsoft and the shooting sports, a true PROGUN Chief. Gen. Razon stuck his neck out for all of us by pushing for, and approving our airsoft amended IRR in the face of political opposition by some well-placed politicians.
Gen. Florencio Cacam Jr., Chief Firearms and Explosives Division for cheerfully supporting our cause for legalization of airsoft, and for keeping his door always literally open to us for comments and suggestions.
Col. Napoleon Estilles, Deputy Chief FED, for is unwavering and undaunted support for the airsoft community. He was responsible for facing and removing all obstacles within the PNP hierarchy and for preserving our draft of the IRR, as much as he reasonably could. He fought for our rights without asking for anything in return.
Col. Anthony Alcaneses (former Chief Storage, FED) my classmate. For his wholehearted support and
Col. Westraymundo Obinque Chief FED Licensing, for lending his technical expertise and insights on the licensing process.
Ms. Gina Marie Angangco and Mr. Bolo Tuason of ARMSCOR for supporting our move.
To the airsoft working group on the drafting the amended IRR for their inputs and comments.
To all the teams and lonewolves who signed and supported our petition for legalization: This victory is yours, all of you!
And to the United Airsoft Alliance (UAA) regardless for its unwavering support and faith in this process.
To the entire airsoft community, regardless of affiliation or region, this is for your patience and continued support.
Finally to THE LORD GOD without whose help this would not have been possible.
